Try living without me
See how far you get
You need me more than anything
Well ok, cept oxygen and sunlight
Even so, I’m not too far behind that
You don’t take care of me
So when I’m gone you’ve only got yourself to blame
Why do you treat me like I’m replaceable?
As if I’ll always be there and come back?
You keep taking me for granted
It’ll be your loss
Cause you’ll miss me more than you could possibly know
You place value on material things
Things like clothes, silver and gold
Even food and the house you live
But make no mistake
Once the last river runs dry
And the last human tears fall
There won’t be a drop of me left to drink
