Is there a difference between writer’s block and just being too busy?
Lately I’ve been working a lot and have been socialising in most of my free time. At one time I was writing non stop, now it’s slowed down. And that’s putting it mildly.
I haven’t been able to attend my writing group either for a few months and next month I’m off on holiday to the Philippines for two weeks. It’s all very good, but I do miss having my time to write poetry and short stories. Thankfully I have booked a day off in both October and November from work specifically so I can attend my writing group. Hopefully that will provide whatever is needed to light that creative spark in me to write again. Of course, a bit of spare time will also have to be set aside for me to do this. Some time spent in a nice coffee shop, perhaps…
