Clock is ticking đź•°ď¸Ź

The clock is ticking, And I’m here sitting,

Waiting, contemplating,

This isn’t what I wanted, To be here just wanting, So many dreams yet to live, So much to this world I wish to give,

I want to be at the final destination, Yet I’m still at the station, Waiting for the train, Feeling nothing but frustration,

This period of time is filled with nothing, But disappointments, false hope and cancellations,

It’s easy to give in, forget where I want to be, and put all I desired down as just a silly pipe dream,

But just as an Olympic athlete must wait for the word go, Before he or she wins the gold, and their name is world known, I too must wait ’til I’m called and my route to destiny is shown
