Beware broken glass,
Shattered like dreams,
A crime committed,
An act of vandalism it seems,
Beware broken glass,
Can cut and hurt you,
Just like the pain from the past,
Before time created the barrier,
Between us and what was once behind the glass,
Beware broken glass,
Did he or she mean to be vicious,
Or was there something more,
Did they think they’d be able to breakthrough,
And things could be like before,
Back when they felt the love they once knew,
Beware broken glass,
It proved you can’t turn back,
Like everything in time,
It must now be replaced,
So you can’t see the cracks.
