Today I have enjoyed an afternoon tea in the garden with royalty.
Well… I was drinking it and having lunch while working on my latest short story, Prince Shoebert 🤴 (previously mentioned in this blog). Now we’ve passed the half day point the temperature has cooled off somewhat and having had a very productive morning and afternoon, I may now put my pen down and look for something else to do. As much as I love seeing my ideas become written content, I also feel when writing you need to know when to stop… And return to it!
I’ve had the last couple of days off work actually, so also had a great day yesterday with it too. The story now stands at just over a dozen pages, so more than half way in, as I don’t plan for the whole thing to be more than 20.
