Dance and don’t be ashamed, There are many who will give you reasons to be afraid,

They’ll tell you to sit it out, But even if you’ve got no partner to hold your hand, Just get right back up and make a stand,

If you fall flat on your feet, That’s ok, get up again, You’ll find your way back as you follow the beat,

It takes courage to dance on your own, To be there when so many feel you should sit in the corner alone,

But seemingly foolish steps will lead to inner confidence, As others begin to see,
