Past Away

Fifteen years ago, I saw you there, Outside international station, The sun shining into your hair


The days turned into months, then into years, Oh how they went by, The first few were so good, As if building on each others lives


Our first holiday together, The wedding, the house, the promise of forever, Chasing all things, The potential ending never


That’s how it seemed, But now it feels like a dream, And that’s ok, things change and I guess we move on


But even in that fully accepted reality, It’s still funny to think, How it’s all just turned into nothing more than a memory
