It’s funny where the journey can lead, You can be approaching your desired destination, At any type of speed, Knowing you’re heading where you want to be is all you need
But the connecting route, That can be all it takes to bring you back, When the partner you’re traveling with decides to leave you on the tracks
That final stop it felt so near, but I guess we were still too far, In the end I was the only one who could still see its beauty, Before it ended a faded star
