A New Stranger In An Old Town

Walking through this town, A place I’ve been a hundred times before, But everyone I once knew is no longer around

But as I walk through the streets And look at all these hundreds of people I’ve never got to meet, I feel better than I did before,
All my worries have been left at the door

None of them know Any of my faults or my fears,
None of them know any of my failures, Or all the time and opportunities I’ve wasted through the years

They don’t know me for my struggles, or my hard work just to claim each little victory

Through their eyes I could be anything, I could be everything I ever hoped I could be
